I started experimenting #jewelry with metal threads by imitating the style of the #Celtic #knots.I have been always fascinated by the #Celtic genre, its folklore and the #fantasy world. This brought me studing #stones and their material and spiritual properties above all.
A few years after I ventured into the world of #craftsmanship, I was lucky enough to attend a goldsmith's art school in Florence. In this period I worked on #stones and #gems in a laboratory and studied meanwhile the #history of the #art of #jewelery, so knowing the story of #René #Lalique. He was a great goldsmith, designer and glazier who standed out first in the #Art #Nouveau and later in the #Art #Déco.
I was struck and fascinated by the sinuous lines of #Art #Nouveau, thus I felt the need to include them in my #creations.
Many of these are #unique #pieces. Is not easy to me realise identical items, because I intend to provide my customers with objects that only they can have, like an #art #work.
Who was René Lalique

Born in Ay in April 6, 1860, he was a French designer and glassmaker.
His #creations the subjects were #natural #elements, #animals and #female nudes.
He worked for Cartier, designed jewels for Sarah Bernhardt. He reached his greatest success at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900.
He always relied more of quality and #uniqueness of his works rather than the value of materials. That's why #Lalique resorted to ivory, horn and enamel to create many unique pieces.
In first times of his career he applied his creativity above all to glass and goldsmith's art. Later he managed its efforts for commercial purposes, with variety of items and #techniques to produce them.
His activity ended with his death during the Second World War (Paris, 1 May 1945), but it was resumed by his son Marc in 1946.
